General operation of tours
-
Tours last approximately 90 minutes and are done on foot.
-
Tours take place outside and each one follows a different trajectory, adapted to the content of the tour. Consequently, with certain exceptions made, the trajectory cannot be modified.
-
In order to avoid any delays, you must be present at the tour’s point of departure approximately 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
-
Dress according to the weather: wear appropriate footwear and proper clothing. It is better to dress in layers and be able to take one off than not be dressed warmly enough.
-
In case of extreme weather (storm, heavy rain, extreme cold, etc.), we reserve the right to cancel the tours. Otherwise, the tours take place, whether the conditions are good or poor.
-
Tips are not compulsory, but are always appreciated.
Individuals
-
Departures for individuals (or small groups) are made according to fixed times and dates during the summer season (from St-Jean-Baptiste Day to Labour Day) and on Halloween. See our calendar for more details about the activities!
-
Reservations are mandatory and can be made by telephone, by email or online.
-
Payment for the tour is to be made by cash, at the tour itself.

To make a reservation, groups must be composed of at least 12 people.
-
All groups of 12 people or less, at the time of the tour, must mandatorily pay the minimum group requirement.

We use a ratio of 1 tour guide for about 30 people. We can accommodate bigger groups without a problem, by increasing the number of tour guides.
-
Many tours are available in French and in English. Ask us about them!
-
Your group is composed of Francophones AND Anglophones? According to the size of the group, a tour guide can be added and the group can be divided between Francophones and Anglophones.
-
Tour & Drink Deal: upon request and with an extra 4$ charge per person, certain tours can end with a bite to eat or a drink at one of our partners’ establishments. Clink glasses at either the Pub l’Oncle Antoine or at La Barberie microbrewery, or satisfy your sweet tooth at la Fudgerie!
-
Payment can be made at the end of the tour, by either cash or cheque. You may also choose to be billed, and send us a cheque by mail, within the 30 days following the tour. In all cases, a bill will be emailed to you within the days following the activity.
